Artist's Comments

I thought about entering this in Wacom's current contest (Good vs. Evil), but I'm unsure...Opinions?

Based on a poem I once wrote, influenced by the Greek myth of Charon, the ferryman who brings dead souls across the river Styx to the underworld. Those who can pay, anyway.

Time: About two hours (including finding images)
Tools: Photoshop CS4, tablet, stock images

I think your work is taking a turn for the depressing. See the pretty sunshine, Margie, see the happy flowers!

It's still cool, though. Figuratively speaking.
:iconmachimo:
>_>
Gee, thanks Lisa.
xD The mythological underworld's river isn't full of happy flowers.
:iconleazhi:
But it's mythological, so how do you know? Not to mention that dragons were furry and sparkly, and had daisies for eyes.

Did you get the chemistry stuff? I notice you haven't emailed me back about the lab procedure. Actually, only one of you lot did, thanks a lot.

And the exam information is up on the website, if you haven't seen that yet. Luckily for you, there is an experimental portion, but I can't personally gauge how difficult it will be.
:iconmachimo:
xD

I got it, sorry for not replying. I didn't have any ideas on how to fix it.

xP I'll probably be better on the non-experimental parts.
:iconleazhi:
Figures.

I know. The non-experimental part is just the orbital, molecular shape stuff we've been doing for the past nine weeks; should be simple, but I wouldn't put it past him to throw a last-minute curve-ball. Uh, yeah. Which molecule that you've studied this quarter forms a nine-dimensional, dodecahedral klein bottle with angle measures of -4.92 and 87? Hint: it contains two hundred lanthanum atoms.
